"I realized long ago that there are a large group of individuals who are falling through the cracks in the health system. These individuals are in need of home nursing care but don't qualify for payment by medicare, government assistance or their health insurance for intermittent skilled nursing care for one reason or another. For example, there are those who don't meet the criteria of being home bound in order to receive medicare benefits for home nursing care.
If they are lucky they have family members who do the best they can to provide care; however, frequently these people end up hospitalized due to lack of professional care."

About Dorothy
Dorothy is the owner of Falcon Nursing Services. She has been an RN for 17 years. She moved to Colorado in 1995. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Santa Barbara City College in California. She has extensive experience in adult ICU/CCU, Medical-Surgical , Chronic Wound, Mental Health, Geriatric as well as Home Care.
She is able to provide care for the frail elderly, chronically ill adults and persons with Developmental Disabilities. She is a companionate professional with a desire to maintain the dignity of her clients. Dorothy’s goal is to help you or your loved ones achieve the highest degree of Comfort and Independence at home and to prevent unnecessary Emergency Room visits or Re-hospitalization.
If Dorothy is not working, she is busy volunteering at the schools. She also enjoys traveling and has just returned from a six month visit to New Zealand.
